Bible College Distance Learning

There are more and more people who make the decision to start studying in a Bible College. We cannot know what their motives are but only could be happy that they are still young people who trust in God and want to dedicate their lives to Him. Unfortunately, most clergymen are underestimated as they are considered to be uneducated enough. However, that is totally untrue, especially if we talk about the education you could get in a Bible College.

Because of the fast development of the computer technologies lots of colleges and universities started to open the so called distance learning programs. What you actually do if you choose this method is to learn everything from your computer instead of the lectures. All information and materials are sent to your computer and you even do your exams online. However, it was more than surprising when even the Bible Colleges accepted this system and method of education also and there are already people who learn the Bible and the Christian religion online.

There were many people who were strongly against this decision but it was not cancelled. However, it is really difficult to say whether this change is for good or not, however one thing is sure- we cannot blame the colleges as they probably did that so as to attract more students. And it is really good if there are more people who decide on learning in a Bible College.

We can consider the Bible College distance learning from two points of you. The first one is whether the students really can learn all they have to without the face-to-face communication with a teacher. Undoubtedly, they can! Their interest is even much stronger as they can watch video materials and use a lot of illustrations which will help them understand the Christian religion and deepen in it. The conclusion is that there is no reason we should claim that this form of education is worse than the regular one. Just on the contrary, there are even proofs it could be better.

But as we said there are two points of you. The other one is that the distance learning could be considered as regardless. And then we should ask ourselves the question whether something so sacred and pure could be learnt in such a way. What we could answer is that there is probably nothing bad or disrespectful about the Bible College distance learning. If there was something, the Pope would definitely have mentioned it in one of his speeches. And as he has not, we can only believe that the Bible College distance learning could be a really great way to make more young people choose such Colleges.
