Step Right Up: Carnival of the Infosciences!
It is Library Garden’s turn to host the Carnival of the Infosciences! If you don’t know what this is - now is a great time to find out (there’s also a Carnival of the Infosciences wiki)!
What is it?
The Carnival of the Infosciences is a bi-weekly weblog post that endeavors to showcase the best posts in the blogosphere about topics related to the wide world of Library and Information Science.
Different blogs take turns “hosting” this to spread the work around. It has been a little bit over a year now since Library Garden last hosted. This is a great way to get caught up on what’s been happening on the library and infoscience bogs in the past two weeks…..
The Carnival will be posted on Monday, February 4th at Library Garden. It is currently hosted by The Eclectic Librarian and you can see it here. I have added a little link to the Carnival of the Infosciences on our blog. It is on the right side, just above the Blogroll. It looks like this

When you host, you receive submissions as to what blog posts should appear and you organize and post them…. perhaps the CJRLC Blog will host one day?
By the way, there are OTHER Carnivals on OTHER topics besides infosciences (gasp)! You can check them out by checking out the home page of Blog Carnival here. The Carnival of the Recipes looks interesting, as does The Dog Blog Carnival ![]()
